Fingerprint, face, palm and card terminals that send every punch straight into GEM Time — installed, configured and supported locally in the Caribbean.
Every punch a terminal takes is applied to your own rules inside GEM Time — rounding, grace periods, breaks, overtime and night allowances — so the hours your supervisors approve are the hours payroll pays. All three terminals report into the same account, so you can mix them across locations.
A fingerprint, a face or a palm cannot be handed to a colleague. Where cards are used as well, access can be tied to the terminals each employee is allowed to use.
Punches arrive in GEM Time directly over the network — no files to import and no second set of hours to reconcile. From there, GEM Time Connect carries the approved hours on to your payroll system.
Biometric templates are held encrypted and move only over HTTPS. Enrolment can be done at the terminal or pushed from the system, and GEM Time records each employee's biometric consent.
The terminal for a clock that stays indoors on one wall and has to be dependable and affordable. A 5-inch touch screen, four ways to clock, and one network cable that carries both data and power.

The terminal for a site that needs a door driven, a gigabit network and a clock that keeps taking punches through a power cut. A 7-inch touch screen with infrared face recognition in under a second.
The terminal for a yard, a gate, a quay or an event: a rugged, portable clock that works away from a wall socket. IP66 housing, 7,600 mAh battery and 4G LTE.

Terminals are fitted with the modules each site needs — the configuration shown on each datasheet is an example.

An outage on the internet link should never leave a hole in the timesheet. Every terminal stores up to one million transactions locally and synchronises them to GEM Time when connectivity returns. The LTIMA7 adds a battery for power cuts, and the LTIMA7P adds a bigger battery and 4G for sites with no cable at all.
